You might not have had a chance to meet me yet, but my name is Susan Miguel. Also known in the New England bridge world as the Fairy GOLDmother. It's my job – actually my passion – to help new bridge players enjoy the world of tournament bridge. Most importantly, it's to help you have lots of FUN!!
This is an exciting time to be a newer bridge player because the Nationals are coming to Providence,
and it brings with it 11 days of fun. Don't freak out and assume that's not for you! We offer a special program designed just for new players. Not only will you have the opportunity to play in Intermediate/Novice games and meet a variety of interesting new people, there are also lessons, daily lectures by prominent celebrity speakers, delectable registrations gifts, door prizes and section top prizes – not to mention a bridge-related theatrical production and, best of all – WaterFire!We're even cooking up some additional fun for our 0-20 players. For instance, 0-5 players play FREE all day on July 15. Just let me know if you're interested in joining us. I can give you all the scoop and it will help me add even more special events to the week.
